Polonius, Hamlet, and Privacy

In some cases it is okay to snoop into there child's stuff only if you have suspicion of them doing something wrong. If your child is always doing what they have to do then you shouldn't have to go through there stuff to see what they are doing. In Hamlets case Polonius was wrong for taking his love letter and reading it to everyone that was his own business and non of his. He had no rite to do any of that. I can see if your child was doing something wrong that you went through there stuff like if he/she was doing drugs or they kept getting taken home from the cops. Even in Hamlet case if he kept committing murder and they were wondering if he had a “Hit list” then they should go through his stuff, but he wasn't doing anything wrong he was just in love and there is no crime in being in love. Polonius was just mad that it was his daughter. No one has a rite to go through someone else's stuff unless they have permission to do it, or they have a very good reason to do it its not fair to that person if they do it behind there back.

torture

I think that being tortured is a good way to make people talk because it will eventually cause so much pain that they will end up talking to what the other person wants to here what they want to hear. If they are tortured so bad they will end up just giving in to everything so that they don't end up dead. Most people who torture enjoys to do it. They like to hear the person feel more and more pain.

I think one of my favorite senes of the book is when Odysseus come nacks home and ends up killing all of the sutiors when he gets the chance to. I think that the song the Kill by 30 seconds to mars would fit this scene the best. This is a very gory scene because Odysseus and his son start killing everyone in there. The first guy to get killed was shot in the throut with a arrow.

I liked this scene because it is time for odysseus to get his revenge on the people who have been drinking his wine and eating his food. they are in his kingdom when all of the fighting starts to happen. It shows that Odysseus is a good leader because he is coming back to take over his place. This is more of a revenge scene then it is any other scene.

I think that the song the Kill by 30 Seconds to mars would be a good song to go with this scene. Its talking about breaking them down and burying them. I think it would be a good song because it is saying what is happening in the scene when he starts to kill everybody in the palace of his.

is your town worth fighting for

When you walk oiutside of my house you see a bunch of apartments. down the street from my house there is a park for little kids. I dont think that the place that i live is worth fighting for because alot of bad stuff happens where i live. In the apartments there are alot of drug dealers in those apartments. I do think that we owe it to the people who are fighting for our rights for America because without them we would all be in trouble. We might not even have some of the rights that we do today. If there werent people dying for us there would be no america.

is Odysseus a good leader

Odysseus is a great leader because he helps his men get out of danger many times. He helps them get out of danger from the cylopes when they made a shap steak and jamed it into his eye. He also lead them out of danger from circe the witch when his men were turned into animals and he got circe to turn the back to who they really are. he also protected them form the sirens when he had them sing there own song really loud and he put beeswax into there ears. The man sealed there own fate when odysseus told them not to kill any cattle of the god or all of them die and when odysseus fall asleep he woke up to them cooking one of the animals.

Odysseus or his men

In the Current part of the odysseus we got to meet new people in the book who were trying to help him out. in the Book Odysseus just met Aeolus who is "The God of Wind" Aeolus give Odysseus a giant bag of wind that held all of the wind except the wind going to the west to hed them on the way home. While they were on there way home Odysseus men got eager toe open it. They thought that it had silver and gold in the bag. The men open it and all the wind blow out of the bag and throw them back to the other side of the ocean. I think that this is Odysseus men fault because if they would have never opened up the sack they would have made it all the way home to were they wouldn't starve. If they would have just waited until they got home Odysseus would have told and showed them what it was just like he told them
